Time to try something new.

I still  can’t believe it’s already 2017. Here we are in January the longest saddest month of the year. I have remedy for that .. I will be teaching two courses at the Peterborough school of Art… Printmaking and Scratchboard.

I will also have two workshops , February 4th,  for teenagers scratchboard and March 5 th,  for adults workshops… Hope to see you there.

Winter Term: Printmaking I

Wednesdays, 1-4 p.m. StartsFeb,1th,2017

$185, members $166.50 + $105 material fee

This course is designed as a basic intro to printmaking techniques and the art of intaglio printing, (printing on Clayboard) and relief printing (lino). Develop an understanding of the medium and an ability to create art using printmaking and intaglio processes in a non toxic way. An emphasis will be placed on the content of the images created as well as skill in mastering techniques.

Winter Term: Scratchboard I

Thursdays, 1-4 p.m. starts Feb 2 th, 2017

This course is designed to teach Scratchboard for a beginner and intermediate student. Develop an understanding of the medium and an ability to create art, using Scratchboard. An emphasis will be placed on the content of the images created as well as skill in mastering techniques. Through out the course there will an exploration in the many usage of line to create an image.
